The Law Enforcement Academy held a solemn presentation of diplomas of doctor of philosophy (PhD) to applicants Aliya Kystaubaeva, Yevgenia Espergenova and Zhandos Zholzhaksynov.
Congratulating the young scientists, the Rector of the Academy Yergali Merzadinov noted the role of the Dissertation Council of the University, which has acquired the status of an independent entity that has the right to award degrees and issue diplomas of doctor of philosophy (PhD) or doctor of science. Last year, the first three doctoral theses were defended under the new status.
The new composition of the Dissertation Council includes 11 doctors and 6 candidates of science. Among them are such famous Kazakh scientists as Isidor Borchashvili, Kuanysh Baltabayev, Baktybai Zhunusov and others.
