Simulation training for public prosecutors

A simulation trial was held within the framework of the Forum of Public Prosecutors at the Law Enforcement Academy.

Opening the training event, the rector of the Academy Yergali Merzadinov noted the importance of holding it to improve the quality of maintaining state prosecution, the ability of prosecutors to participate in a court at a professional level and uphold the position of the supervisory authority.

150 prosecutors – state prosecutors from all regions of Kazakhstan were invited to participate in the training. They watched the criminal case and actively participated in the discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of the game process.

The public prosecutors were Academy staff and students in the initial training program for prosecutors.

In order to develop skills in maintaining state prosecution, prosecutors demonstrated their skills in preparing for the trial, participating in the trial, correctly presenting the indictment, and studying judicial acts.

The chairman of the judicial collegium for criminal cases of the Astana city court Esymova Alma Yesymovna appreciated the work of prosecutors, made recommendations on improving professional knowledge.

The lesson introduced the “Zandylyk” automated system, which was designed to help prosecutors prepare to participate in the trial, as well as a distance learning program for law enforcement officials.

The training showed the relevance and preference for carrying out such exercises when training existing employees. According to the general opinion of the participants, the innovative format of the training allows to increase professional competence, to identify and resolve problematic issues in the interaction of the judicial and supervisory authorities.
