A round table on tax legislation was organized in Nur-Sultan by the Law Enforcement Academy in conjunction with the International Center for Taxes and Investments.
The forum was attended by representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Supreme Court, Ministries of finance and national economy, Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Almaty Bar Association, as well as the business community.
During the meeting, topical issues of decriminalization of tax legislation were discussed, recommendations were developed on the transition to the international practice of applying fiscal law.
The representative of the Australian Department of Taxation, Wayne Burford, spoke as a foreign expert. He shared his experience in the field of tax law enforcement and the practice of the Australian tax system.
