In Shymkent, the training “The role of information and communication technologies in the fight against human trafficking” was organized by the Law Enforcement Academy for employees of the city prosecutor’s office and the police.
The training was the third in a series of off-site training events and is designed to teach law enforcement officials to recognize new forms and methods of human trafficking.
The trainers were teachers of the Law Enforcement Academy, the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after B. Beisenov, as well as the leaders of the Rodnik public foundation and the shelter for victims of human trafficking in Almaty.
During the training, issues of combating human trafficking, issues of proof in the investigation of criminal cases made, identification of victims of crimes, revealing of facts of human trafficking using information and communication technologies were discussed
