Results of the «Legal Minds» National Competition Announced: Top Teams Identified

On 22 April 2026, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the first «Legal Minds» National Competition for students of higher education institutions.

The event was held as part of the implementation of the Concept for Promoting the Ideology of Law and Order in Society, and under the auspices of the Year of Improving the Quality of Departmental Education.

The Olympiad was aimed at identifying and supporting talented young people, developing professional competencies and increasing students’ interest in serving in the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Teams from the country’s leading universities took part in the intellectual competition, demonstrating a high level of theoretical knowledge, well-developed legal reasoning and the ability to work effectively as a team when solving practice-oriented case studies.

Seven teams competed for the title of best:

Following a tense and competitive contest, the prize places were awarded as follows:

1st place – the «Lex et Ordo: Law and Order» team (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kaidar Aldiyar Manarbekuly)

2nd place – the «Alash Zhastary» team (Alikhan Bokeikhan University, Ruslan Ermekovich Shuakpaev)

3rd place – the «Korkyt Sakshylar» team (Korkyt Ata University of Kyzylorda, Esim Talantuly Serikbaev)

The winners and runners-up were presented with certificates in a formal ceremony, recognising their high level of training and commitment to professional development.

The «Legal Minds» competition has become an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, and has clearly demonstrated the great potential of future professionals dedicated to upholding the law and protecting citizens’ rights.
