A working meeting was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with first-year students from the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies and their academic supervisors—N.Sh. Zhempiisov, S.A. Avgustkhan and A.A. Baimakhanov. During the meeting, issues relating to the progress of dissertation research, publication activity and other topical aspects of academic work were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the use of electronic academic resources, with the head of the relevant department, Zh.N. Orynbekova, presenting the available databases and digital platforms for conducting research.
Following the meeting, the students gained access to relevant materials, as well as receiving recommendations and tasks from their academic supervisors for the further development of their research activities. In addition, prospects for cooperation were discussed, including the possibility of collaboration on contributing to the Kazakhstan National Electronic Library.
