Bilateral Meeting of the Academy with the Law Enforcement Academy of Uzbekistan

As part of the conference, Rector of the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurgalym Abdirov, held a meeting with the leadership of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties noted the stable cooperation between the two educational institutions, which has been developing on the basis of the 2017 memorandum. They emphasized the importance of joint scientific research, preparation of monographs, participation in international projects, and exchange of expertise.

Prospects for cooperation were discussed in the areas of preventing terrorism and extremism, investigating cybercrimes and crimes involving cryptocurrencies, combating drug-related offenses and illegal financial schemes, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of analytical and digital forensics. Special attention was given to the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies for crime analysis, risk forecasting, and the development of modern training modules.

As a result of the meeting, the parties renewed the Cooperation Agreement, which will allow for the expansion of partnership, the launch of new educational and research projects, and the strengthening of professional ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
