The Prosecutor General’s Office and OSCE Strengthen Staff Capacity in Public Communications

In Astana, a two-day training program for representatives of regional prosecutor’s offices was concluded, organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Law Enforcement Academy, with the support of the OSCE Programme Office.

The purpose of the event was to improve the professional competencies of staff responsible for the information support of prosecutorial activities, as well as to enhance the quality of their work in a dynamically evolving media environment.

During the training, participants were introduced to modern standards of transparency and openness, mechanisms for preventing the spread of false and unverified information, and practices of effective interaction with the media in various situations, including crisis scenarios.

Special attention was given to practical exercises: developing crisis communication matrices, practicing skills in the rapid preparation of official statements, applying artificial intelligence tools for monitoring the information space, and preparing visual materials.

At the end of the training, all participants received certificates and methodological materials for further use in their work. The program contributed to strengthening the professional readiness of representatives of the prosecutor’s offices and improving their communication activities in line with modern requirements and technologies.
