Within the framework of the “School of Social Projects” program implemented by the Academy, undergraduates of the university held lectures and conversations with pupils of the SOS Children’s Village and other children’s organizations of Astana.
The topics of the lectures were determined taking into account the needs of future graduates. The first lecture is devoted to financial literacy, the second to crime prevention.
During the speeches, the problems of obtaining loans safely and the legal risks of a dependent position from microcredit organizations were touched upon.
Separately, the speakers focused on the issues of preventing theft and illegal use of personal data specified in various online registration forms when applying for loans.
At the end, the pupils were provided with brochures adapted for them with simple and understandable tips on financial literacy, as well as information on common offenses and responsibility provided by law for their commission.
