A training seminar for law enforcement officers of Central Asia, dedicated to the problems of investigating crimes related to the darknet network, has ended today.
The event was organized on the basis of the Regional Hub for Countering Global Threats jointly with the US Embassy in Kazakhstan.
As part of the agenda, topical issues of the destructive influence of the darknet, the prevention of cybercrime and investigations in the shadow sector of the Internet were discussed.
The participants of the training got acquainted with the methods of safe navigation and proper response to emerging threats, means of collecting and storing evidence in the shadow network. We learned to navigate, find and analyze “dark web resources”.
Experts from the Secret Service and the US Police acted as experts.
