On the eve of the Day of Science Workers, an international scientific and practical conference “Development of Modern Legal Science: Theory and Practice” was organized in the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies via videoconference.
The forum was attended by native and foreign legal scholars, practicing lawyers, and specialists in various branches of law.
Opening the conference, the First Vice-rector of the Academy Kaliolla Seitenov noted the role of science in the progressive development of the state. Every scientist makes an invaluable contribution to the development of the country, increasing its intellectual potential, helping to solve many global problems of the modern world with his work, enthusiasm, and perseverance, he stressed.
At the plenary session, foreign guests – heads of departmental educational institutions of Turkey and the Russian Federation – made welcoming speeches.
Well-known scientists, experts and specialists took part in the discussions on the agenda. The report of Svetlana Smirnova, Director of the Center for Forensic Expertise under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, devoted to the current trends in the development of forensic expertise in Russia, aroused great interest among the participants.
The presentations of scientists from Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine were devoted to topical issues of constitutional and administrative law, the application of civil, civil procedure, criminal, and criminal procedure legislation, as well as issues of international legal support for law enforcement activities.
Based on the results of the forum, recommendations were developed aimed at further development of the research policy of law enforcement agencies, conducting fundamental and applied interdepartmental scientific research.
