The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies together with the Public Foundation “Center for Socio-Psychological Rehabilitation and Adaptation for Women and Children “Rodnik” organized a training for employees of the health and education system of Almaty.
The event was held with the support of the USAID project on safe migration in Central Asia, implemented by Winrok International, and the Mayor’s Office of the city.
The participants of the training got a general idea of the problem of human trafficking, got acquainted with the forms of informing students and teachers, as well as patients and employees of medical institutions about potential threats.
The trainers told the audience about the current state and trends of crimes related to illegal exploitation, the measures taken to counteract criminal acts. They presented best practices in the field of responding to and countering organized crime related to human trafficking.
The participants were also introduced to the principles of cooperation and partnership of institutions in the search and identification of victims of such crimes, providing them with the necessary social assistance.
According to the experts, the development of common approaches to solving existing problems will contribute to improving the effectiveness of work on the prevention and detection of criminal acts.
The participants of the training expressed their gratitude for the organization of the event, noted the high efficiency of the training format, the importance of the practical knowledge gained, as well as the high professionalism of the trainers and experts.
