On November 2-4, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies jointly with the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA) conducted an online training “Investigation of Cybercrime”.
The training event is organized for employees of the Academy, the General Prosecutor’s Office, territorial prosecutor’s offices, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Committee, and the Financial Monitoring Committee.
Director of the Institute of Professional Training Magomed Akayev, representative of TIKA in Kazakhstan Islam Ismail, as well as Head of the Department for Foreign Relations and Partnerships of Uur Tanyeli made speeches at the opening ceremony.
The speakers noted the relevance of the topic of the seminar in the context of growing cyber threats, the need to improve the skills of specialists conducting the investigation of cybercrimes.
During the training, topical issues of ensuring information security, improving the effectiveness of the fight against crime in the field of high technologies were discussed.
The experts were employees of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Main Police Department.
Turkish experts highlighted a wide range of topical issues of information security. They shared their experience in detecting cybercrimes, countering the legalization of proceeds from criminal activity, and investigating violations in payment systems.
