Today at the Academy of law enforcement agencies in the framework of the Memorandum in the field of educational and research activities between APO RK and KAZGUU University named after M. S. Narikbaev hosted a guest lecture by doctor of legal sciences, Professor, academician of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored lawyer of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Kogamov Chekishevich on the topic: “Modern problems of research in the field of law and public security”.
The event was attended by undergraduates, doctoral students and the teaching staff of the Academy.
Author of more than 300 educational and scientific publications in the field of criminal procedure, prosecutor’s supervision, advocacy, law enforcement agencies and the court, as part of the guest lecture, Marat Kogamov held a meaningful professional dialogue on modern issues of research in the field of law and public security, current problems of criminal procedure, methodology for writing master’s and doctoral theses.
He also presented the author’s Commentary to the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, one copy of which was transferred to the library fund of the Academy.
In conclusion, the lecturer answered the questions of the students and the teaching staff, presented his recommendations on the methodology of writing scientific research.
