On March 29, the Law Olympiad was held at the Law Enforcement Academy among students of special higher educational institutions on the topic: “Terrorism as a threat to the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
The event was attended by magistracy and doctoral students of the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office and educational institutions of the Ministry of the Interior.
As experts and jury members, the director of the Expert Institute of European Law Marat Bashimov, as well as representatives of the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court, the Kazakh State Law and Eurasian National Universities were invited.
Competitive tasks for the participants of the Olympiad were divided into 3 stages. This is a test of the theoretical knowledge of legislation in the field of national security, conducting an operational situational analysis of the information provided, as well as debate on specific topics.
Summing up the chairman of the jury Marat Bashimov noted the importance and high level of organization, as well as the training of its participants.
At the end, the winners and active participants of the Olympiad were awarded with diplomas, cups and thanks letters.
