The Academy has completed training courses “Prosecutorial supervision over the application of criminal executive legislation”.
The main purpose of the training is to provide prosecutors with in-depth professional knowledge and skills necessary for the effective organization of supervision over the legality of enforcement proceedings.
As lecturers were invited the staff of the Prosecutor General’s office and the Committee of the penal system, as well as experts of the National centre for human rights, the coordinating Council of the national preventive mechanism, the International organization on prison reform in Central Asia (PRI).
Upon completion of the training, a round table was held where problematic issues of supervision in the field of enforcement proceedings were raised.
In addition, at the suggestion of the Prosecutor General’s office, the Academy is scheduled to conduct an Express analysis on the growth of self-harm among convicts and the penetration of prohibited items into the institutions of the penal system.
