A competition for language skills “Three-tone language is the backdrop of the nation” was held at the Law Enforcement Academy in honor of the celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan,.
The main goal of the competition is to support the language policy of the state, promote trilingualism, identify students who are at a high level of Kazakh, Russian and English, create the necessary conditions to enhance the motivation of employees to actively use languages in official activities.
The competition was held in 3 rounds between 4 teams, including students of special initial training, postgraduates 1 and 2 courses, as well as doctoral students of the Academy.
In the 1st round, the participants presented themselves and the team in the official language, in the 2nd round they showed excerpts from the works of Shakespeare and the Hollywood classics “The Scarface” in English, in the 3rd round excerpts from popular films in Russian were voiced.
According to the results of the competition, the jury awarded the first place to the team of students of special initial training “SPO-27”, the second place – first-year postgraduates, the third place went to second-year postgraduates. Teams awarded cups and diplomas.
In some nominations, the best were Adelia Alzhan, Erasyl Sekenov and Zhalgas Kosymbay.
The event was organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Academy.
