August 28, 2018 held a regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Law Enforcement Academy.
At the meeting of the Academic Council were approved academic calendars for magistracy and doctoral students of the Academy in the fields of “Law Enforcement” and “Law”, working curricula for recruitment 2018, teaching load and reports of the chairmen of the State certification Commission.
Also recommended for publication: guidelines “On the gradual reduction of the scope of the death penalty,” prepared by a team of the Academy; the monograph “problems of development of application of punishment in the form of a fine and confiscation of property for corruption and economic crimes” (Author – Kumarbekkyzy J.); the monograph “Legal assistance during pre-trial investigation in the Republic of Kazakhstan” (Author — Omarov E. A.); the monograph “Problems of implementation of anti-corruption conventions in the criminal law of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (Author — A. J. Mamitova); Methodology for forecasting individual criminal behavior based on discriminant analysis using the SPSS package; Methodology for identifying “abnormal” indicators of criminal statistics and probation control; Methodology for analyzing the situation in the field of consideration of appeals; review “Crime prevention through criminological forecasting (on the example of West Kazakhstan region)”; review “Critical quantitative and qualitative analysis of crime in Kostanay region”; scientific and practical guide “Problems of formation of “zero tolerance” to offenses in society»; scientific and practical manual “Actual problems of juvenile delinquency prevention”.
