On 3 April 2026, a joint lecture session for doctoral students on the topic «Issues relating to the prevention of military criminal offences» was held at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The session was led by Dinara Talgatovna Amurtayeva, Associate Professor at the Academy’s Institute of Postgraduate Education, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Junior Counsellor of Justice. The expert speaker was Daniyar Zhumagatovich Mukanov, Deputy Head of the Office of the Chief Military Prosecutor, Colonel of Justice and Candidate of Legal Sciences.
The session examined the key causes and conditions of military criminal offences, assessed the effectiveness of current legislation, and analysed early prevention measures, including psychological assessment, mentoring and educational work.
The topic generated considerable interest among the students. During the discussion, the doctoral students actively asked questions, to which the lecturers provided detailed answers, emphasising the practical significance of the aspects under consideration.
