On 12 November 2025, a session within the course “Methodology of Conducting Scientific Research” of the School of Scientific Development was held at the Interdepartmental Research Institute of the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The topic of the meeting was the use of information and communication technologies in the scientific and educational process. The lecture was delivered by Dr. PhD Mukhtar Sadykov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Institute for Advanced Training.
Participants discussed the role of modern digital tools in organizing and enhancing the efficiency of scientific research — from information retrieval and data analysis to visualization of results and academic communication. It was noted that artificial intelligence, cloud services, and collaborative platforms enable researchers to save time and improve the quality of scientific output while preserving personal contribution and scientific ethics.
The course is aimed at developing digital literacy, critical thinking, and the ability to use technologies to solve research tasks. Special attention was given to issues of academic integrity, data management, and the formation of a professional research culture in the context of the digital transformation of science.
