The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to strengthen its status as a regional center for expert training in the field of digital security. The next step in this direction was an international seminar on “Investigating Crimes in the Digital Environment,” held from April 22 to 24, 2025, in Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of the Mongolian law enforcement agencies.
The seminar was part of the Academy’s strategic initiative to promote Kazakhstan’s professional experience abroad, expand international dialogue, and strengthen ties in the Asian region. The participants were representatives of Mongolian law enforcement agencies, who were introduced to modern methods of working with digital evidence, including the analysis of cryptocurrency transactions, the detection of crimes on the darknet, and the use of OSINT tools.
The training program included both theoretical classes and practical training on the application of digital forensics in investigative and operational activities. The classes were conducted by Academy experts with practical experience and high professional qualifications.
The event concluded with an open session presenting the Academy’s educational programs and its activities as a Regional Hub for Combating Transnational Organized Crime.
The seminar in Mongolia confirmed the Academy’s growing role as a reliable international partner and leader in training specialists capable of effectively responding to the challenges of the digital age.
