On April 3, 2025, in Astana, at the QazExpoCongress venue, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies took part in a seminar organized by the Anti-Corruption Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic: “Effective compliance control: advanced methods and strategies for combating corruption.” The event was devoted to discussing current issues in the field of compliance control and improving anti-corruption mechanisms.
The seminar was attended by representatives of government agencies, relevant universities, and experts in the field of compliance. The participants were welcomed by the heads of the Anti-Corruption Service, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Academy of Financial Monitoring, as well as the director of the Institute of Professional Training of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies, Marat Abdrakhmanov.
In his speech, he emphasized that in today’s economy, where transparency and ethics are key factors for sustainable development, effective compliance control plays a crucial role in strengthening trust in government institutions and business.
The event also featured a presentation on the Academy’s activities, including its work with the Anti-Corruption Service to improve the qualifications of compliance officers. Participants highly praised the content of the programs and expressed interest in continuing systematic and regular training in this area.
In conclusion, the director invited all interested parties to undergo anti-corruption training at the Academy with the opportunity to obtain an official certificate of the established standard.
