The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies held an international round table on the topic “Taking into account the characteristics of a criminal’s personality in the prevention of certain types of crimes: problems of theory and practice” in an online format.
The main purpose of the event is to develop recommendations for systematizing the characteristics of the criminal’s personality in order to increase the effectiveness of crime prevention, improve ways and means of its prevention.
The Round table was attended by representatives of the scientific community of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan, domestic and foreign practitioners and experts, staff of the Academy.
The participants noted the relevance of the issues under consideration and the need to improve crime control measures, methods of criminological forecasting and evaluation of the effectiveness of this activity.
Following the results of the round table, recommendations were developed to solve the problems raised, and further expansion of cooperation in the scientific field was proposed.
