An outstanding artist, composer, poet, laureate of the State Prize, president of the International Association “Peace through Culture” Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov held a creative evening for students and staff of the Academy.
Welcoming the composer, the Academy’s management noted his contribution to the preservation and strengthening of Russian art, a significant role in popularizing the achievements of the country, national values.
The distinguished guest played his famous works, communicated and answered questions from those present, shared interesting facts from his personal and creative life, presented collections of his music and poems to the participants of the meeting.
Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov is the author of symphonies, operas, chamber compositions, music for theatrical productions, romances, popular instrumental music.
He has written music for more than 20 films.
His songs were performed by such famous singers as: Rosa Baglanova, Ermek Serkebayev, Bibigul Tulegenova, Alibek Dnishev, Rosa Rymbaeva, Irina Ponarovskaya, Irina Otieva, Batyrkhan Shukenov, Nurzhamal Usenbayeva, Stas Piecha, Nagima Eskalieva, Makpal Zhunusova, Aizhan Nurmagambetova, Baurzhan Isaev, Meruert Tusupbaeva, Na-Na groups, “Dos-Mukasan”, “Akynai” and others.
The events are organized within the framework of the program of the training course “University of Culture”.
