An international online seminar on the implementation of procedural guidance by the prosecutor in the investigation of premeditated murders has completed its work.
The participants of the training are prosecutors and investigative officers of the CIS countries, as well as employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office and regional Prosecutor’s Offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seminar was organized in accordance with the recommendations of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General, as well as the gradual transition to a three-tier model of criminal procedure carried out in Kazakhstan.
During the training, topical issues of coordination of operational work on the disclosure of premeditated murders were considered.
Experts from the Russian Federation shared their experience in organizing supervision over the investigation of this category of cases.
As noted by the speakers, the exchange of practice of interaction between prosecutors and investigative bodies is designed to improve mechanisms for effective counteraction to attacks on human life, as well as respect for the constitutional rights of citizens in criminal proceedings.
The training event was held within the framework of the Academy’s status as a basic organization of the Commonwealth states to improve the skills of prosecutorial and investigative workers.
The classes were conducted by employees of the 1st Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, heads of regional prosecutor’s offices, as well as teachers of the Academy.
