On December 24, 2020, Aziz Burkhanov (PhD, Indiana University), PhD, Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Public Policy (GSPP) of Nazarbayev University, gave a guest lecture on “Experience in organizing scientific research in leading US universities” at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies within the framework of a Memorandum with Nazarbayev University.
The event was attended by undergraduates, doctoral students and the teaching staff of the Academy.
During the meeting, the lecturer highlighted issues related to the choice of the research topic, the supervisor, the organization and planning of research work, and also focused on modern research methods using the example of his own experience of studying in the PhD program at Indiana University.
In conclusion, the lecturer answered the questions of the students and the teaching staff of the Academy.
According to the participants of the guest lecture, this event was an important event for enriching the scientific and educational knowledge of students.
